Liquor store associate

We are a retail store that specializes in spirits, wine, craft beer, and cigars, located in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area. We are seeking a reliable Front-End Associate to join us. Six months retail experience is required.

Basic job description:

1. Operate cash register for retail sales, receive payments via card or cash, check proper identification to sell liquor, wine, beer and/or tobacco.

2. Provide friendly customer service, including but not limited to: searching database to find items on shelves, making product recommendations and selling merchandise.

3. Monitor customers within the store to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.

4. Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, counters, and equipment.

5. Stock shelves, counters, and coolers with merchandise as needed.

6. Follow all company policies, procedures and state laws.

Requirements:

- Must be at lease 21 years of age.

- Willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be able to pass drug and background test.

- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
