Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Backflow Tester to join our dynamic team and ensure the safety and integrity of water systems across various construction and commercial sites. In this role, you will perform specialized testing and certification of backflow prevention devices, helping to protect public health by preventing contaminated water from flowing back into potable water supplies. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining compliance with local regulations and industry standards, supporting the community’s well-being through diligent inspection and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing and certification of backflow prevention devices in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Inspect backflow preventers to identify potential issues or code violations.
• Utilize hand tools to repair or replace backflow devices as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, repairs, and certifications for compliance audits.

Skills

• Strong background in construction, construction plumbing, welding, and general building trades.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and schematics reading.
• Versatile handyman experience including assembly, remodeling, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
