List Services Postal Director

We are The Miami Valley Group, an Executive Search and Recruiting Firm and we have been retained by one of our large clients in the Printing industry to go out and find a List Services Postal Director to help them take their data processing and postal operations to the next level. Our client is one of the nation’s leading print manufacturers and proudly works with customers worldwide. What you will be doing...

The List Services Postal Director is responsible for overseeing all mailing-related data processing and ensuring accurate, efficient, and optimized preparation of mailings across multiple categories and multiple facilities. This role oversees the Offshore List Services teams and collaborates closely with internal departments, clients, and production partners to support high-quality output and timely delivery. This position is responsible for managing postal affairs by communicating with USPS, monitoring regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with mailing requirements, and resolving postal-related issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct, train and oversee the Offshore List Services team responsible for processing, origin mail, drop shipments, letter and comingle jobs.
  • Train team members to utilize and become proficient in BCC applications.
  • Optimize postage through effective modeling, data review, and application of USPS mailing standards.
  • Support production workflows and troubleshoot mailing-related issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth scheduling, data handoffs, and mailing execution.
  • Maintain a strong customer service focus, ensuring timely communication and high customer satisfaction.
  • Handle postal affairs, including communication with USPS, monitoring regulation changes, ensuring compliance with mailing requirements, and resolving postal-related issues.
  • Provide open communications to both employees and management. Set the proper example and apply company policies as defined in Employee Handbook.
  • Follow all required safety procedures such as PPEs, ergonomics, performs the job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Proficiency in BCC software applications and USPS mailing standards.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to optimize postage and ensure accurate mailing preparation.
  • 10+ years’ customer service and postal optimization experience is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of US Postal regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
