Literacy and Math Tutors

Learning à la Carte is excited to expand our team!

We're seeking passionate, dedicated educators to join us as specialists tutoring and supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners in reading and math.

We serve students from elementary through high school and provide in-person support in Alexandria, Arlington, McLean, and NW DC.

Key highlights:

Flexible hours – work as much or as little as fits your schedule (no minimum hour requirement!)

Focus on evidence-based best practices in reading, including decoding, encoding, and comprehension (aligned with the Science of Reading principles)

Opportunities to make a real difference for learners of all abilities

If you're an enthusiastic teacher or tutor who stays current with effective, research-backed methods (think structured literacy approaches, explicit phonics instruction, and strategies that build strong foundational skills), we'd love to hear from you!
