Litigation Associate Attorney

Established law firm seeks associate attorney for general litigation, domestic relations and general practice in Richmond, Virginia.

Candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, take initiative and be a problem-solver. Must be licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating, and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience and confidence in handling criminal and domestic relations cases.

Salary and or compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to clients and assist other attorneys
• Maintain client relationships
• Prepare legal reports and documents
• Handle cases individually from intake to trial, appeal and beyond

Qualifications

• Licensed with the Virginia State Bar
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong legal knowledge
