Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Drafting legal documents such as complaints, discovery, motions, briefs, and settlement demands

• Preparing and filing court documents

• Taking and defending depositions

• Representing clients in court proceedings such as trials or hearings

• Educating clients about their legal rights and responsibilities throughout the process

• Communicating with insurance companies and medical providers to obtain records and update information on cases

• Interviewing clients to understand their case’s details, identifying issues, and determining a strategy for settlement or litigation

• Negotiating settlements with the other party’s attorney

• Preparing cases for depositions, mediations, and trials 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association

• Licensed to Practice law in the State of Georgia

• 1-5 years of experience practicing law

Training:

• Attorney will receive on-the-job training in their first six months of employment which will assist with learning Personal Injury Law and the firm’s culture, procedures and policies.
