Litigation Associate Attorney

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Litigation Associate to help maintain our firm’s operations and support the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of litigation (fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement and so on), and develop and maintain strong business and client relationships for a diverse caseload.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions.
• Manage depositions including preparation and defense of client, and taking fact and expert witness depositions.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to assist in preparation for and conduct of trials and other evidentiary hearings, and to guide strategic decisions in complex litigation matters.
• Participate in active trials, on- site accident investigations, and provide other legal support, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar License, in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in insurance defense and/or litigation.
• Experience in handling complex litigation matters, personal injury experience preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software, such as Centerbase and NetDocuments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
