Litigation Associate (Supreme Court / Delhi High Court exposure)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Position: Advocate-Litigation
• Location: South Delhi
• PQE: 2 to 4 Years
• Education: LLB (3 years or 5 years)/ LLM

Job Profile-:

• Prior experience in commercial and civil litigation, and experience at Delhi High Court, NCLT, Supreme Court of India
• Vetting and drafting of suit plaint, written statement, interim applications, written submissions, etc.;
• Prior experience in appearing before various courts in Delhi;
• Open to travel to south Delhi and all courts : Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, NCLT etc.
• Be flexible and available for working on weekends.
• Good communication, coordination and planning skills across teams who are handling multiple client matters.

Desired Skills:

• Analytical bent of mind, expected to give valid and effective solutions to clients.
• LLB with experience 2-4 years of experience
• Independent and self-motivated.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Office.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent Research skills.
• Excellent comprehension and presentation skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience in vetting and drafting of suits, written statements, writs, counter affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, contempt petitions, miscellaneous applications, affidavits, drafting of various commercial agreements, proofreading, editing, etc.
• Should have excellent research skills.
• Should be abreast with the latest developments in case law and be able to do careful analysis of the case.
• Should have prior experience in appearing before Delhi High Court, Supreme Court, NCLT etc. Appearance in Out Station Courts / Tribunals will be an added advantage
• Coordination, communication and planning across teams and clients who are handling the matters.
• Should have experience in handling Civil, Commercial matters and handling Criminal matters would be an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
