Litigation Attorney

Job Summary:

Ekspert Counsel is seeking a skilled First Party Property Attorney for a full-time litigation role in Colorado Springs. This position is perfect for those who want to make a significant impact in the insurance industry, using their legal acumen to resolve complex claims disputes. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and hone your litigation skills in a dynamic professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Review, evaluate, and prepare cases for trial.
• Prepare legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions to dismiss (MTD), and motions for summary judgment (MSJ).
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, gathering crucial information for cases.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests and address any associated issues.
• Attend court hearings to represent clients and present legal arguments.
• Maintain consistent communication and provide updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged.

Qualifications:

• Admitted to the Colorado State Bar.
• Experience litigating property damage claims.
