Summary:

Seeking a Litigation Associate with experience to join a civil defense practice. This role offers hands-on litigation work, growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle civil defense matters including general liability, tort, civil rights, employment, police liability, land use, and First Amendment issues
• Draft motions, briefs, discovery demands, and legal research
• Conduct depositions, court appearances, hearings, and trial preparation
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and municipal/governmental clients
• Manage caseload with accuracy, timeliness, and professional communication

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York Bar
• Minimum 1+ years of litigation experience
• Exceptional legal writing and research skills
• Strong organization, communication, and time-management
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative legal team
• Hybrid work flexibility available
