Associate Attorney

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our trial team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled litigator with strong trial preparation abilities and a results-driven mindset, focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit both a resume and a writing sample (no more than 10 pages). Preferred writing samples include motions or motion responses previously filed in court.

  • Utilize case management systems and technology to organize, monitor, and advance cases efficiently.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Work effectively under pressure and adhere to case action plans and court timelines.
  • Exercise sound legal judgment in client and team decision-making.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and emotional intelligence in all interactions.
  • Comply with ethical standards, professional obligations, and firm policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
  • First-chair trial experience in at least one significant personal injury case.
  • Strong background in trial preparation and case management.
  • Excellent organizational, research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.
  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven trial advocate with multiple first-chair jury trials.
  • Experience with trucking, products liability, premises liability, or catastrophic injury cases.
