Litigation Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years general litigation experience. This role involves managing legal cases, conducting thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents and providing expert counsel to clients.

Duties

• Manage and oversee a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and more.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies and legal arguments.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related paperwork with precision and clarity.
• Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and depositions to advocate for clients’ interests.
• Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence, assessing risks, and advising clients on potential outcomes.
• Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting practice areas such as tribal law & regulations and securities law.
• Utilize legal research tools effectively to support case development and argumentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance legal expertise across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the New Jersey State Bar is required.
• Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis.
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of handling complex disputes effectively.
• Knowledge of legal administrative processes and procedures within a busy law office environment.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy. Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
