Litigation Attorney

Long Island, NY creditor rights law firm has an immediate opening for an in person full-time associate attorney in its Woodbury, Long Island office.

Responsibilities

- Handle litigation caseload, which includes drafting pleadings, motions, responsive papers, discovery demands and responses, and correspondence

- Represent firm’s clients in both virtual and in-person court appearances

- Review matters to ensure compliance with federal and state consumer protection rights

- Perform other additional duties as needed

Qualifications

- Admission to the New York bar

- Excellent writing, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with the FDCPA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
