Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team on a contract basis, focusing on commercial litigation, business disputes, and select personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, the ability to manage cases independently, and confidence handling matters from inception through trial or resolution.

Duties

• Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, including court appearances, hearings, and trials
• Handle business disputes, contract disputes, and related commercial matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct thorough legal research
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate
• Advise clients on legal strategy, risks, and obligations
• Maintain accurate case files and client communications
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on case strategy and management

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience
• Strong background in commercial law, business disputes, and/or personal injury
• Proven ability to litigate cases from start to finish
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Professional courtroom presence and client-facing skills
• Ability to meet deadlines independently
