Sonja Cotton & Associates is seeking a litigation attorney with 3–10 years of experience to join a prominent national law firm focused on mass tort healthcare subrogation and health cost containment. This dual-role opportunity combines litigation and compliance responsibilities and is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic legal environment and has some management experience. About this Opportunity
The ideal candidate will support the firm’s litigation team handling mass tort healthcare subrogation and will also serve as the Compliance Attorney. Compliance experience is a plus but not required—training could be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Subrogation Support:

• Assist in managing complex mass tort healthcare subrogation matters.
• Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.
• Collaborate with health plan clients to document and recover subrogation claims.

Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure firm-wide compliance with ethical and professional obligations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain firm policies and procedures to support compliance efforts.
• Provide training and guidance to attorneys, owners, and staff.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active, in-good-standing member of the Arizona State Bar.
• 3–10+ years of litigation experience, ideally in personal injury, civil litigation, insurance defense, mass tort, or criminal law.
• No disciplinary history with any state bar in the past 10 years.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
