Litigation Attorney – (Associate - Partner) – Insurance Defense

Our attorneys handle complex litigation in areas such as transportation, premises liability, construction defect, and general liability.

The Opportunity:

FHMS is growing its Philadelphia office and actively hiring for:

• Mid-Level Associates (3–5 years)
• Lateral Partner (focus on premises liability, transportation, and construction defect)

We’re seeking attorneys who are confident managing their own cases, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court — as well as senior-level leaders who can shape trial strategy and strengthen client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Manage or oversee cases from intake through resolution or trial.
• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions and hearings.
• Work collaboratively with clients and claims professionals to develop case strategy.
• Mentor associates and contribute to firm development (partner level).

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• Associates: 3–5 years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense preferred).
• Partner: 10+ years of litigation experience, including trial work; client base or business development experience preferred.
• Strong advocacy, writing, and courtroom skills.
• Former prosecutors or public defenders are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
