Litigation Attorney (Part-Time / Contract)

Florida (Remote with In-Person Days as Needed)

We are a Florida firm seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team on a part-time/contract basis, with the opportunity to start in January 2026.

This role is ideal for a sharp litigator who enjoys hands-on work, including depositions and trials, and is looking for flexible hours while staying actively involved in litigation.

Position Overview

• Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with increased hours during trial weeks
• Status: Part-time / Contract
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Primarily remote, but must be available in person for trials (FL).

Key Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare for and participate in trials
• Handle hearings, evidentiary matters, and trial prep
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery as needed
• Work collaboratively with firm partners on case strategy

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar membership (required)
• Litigation experience required (trial and deposition experience strongly preferred)
• Comfortable appearing in court and handling live testimony
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Reliable, responsive, and able to manage deadlines independently
• Ability to scale availability during trial periods
