Litigation Coordinator (Legal, Office, Administrative, Law, Project Manager, Analyist)

The Law Offices of Wyatt and Associates P.L.L.C. is an employment-focused law firm that represents employees and employers with issues related to discrimination and termination. The firm is looking to add a Litigation Coordinator to assist with detailed project management and logistical support.

The Law Offices of Wyatt & Associates P.L.L.C. represents employees and employers in employment-focused litigation disputes, including many cases related to alleged discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. The Firm is hiring a Litigation Coordinator to join our busy court litigation team and to assist with detailed project management and logistical support for court cases and other litigation-related matters.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative projects including, but not limited to, monitoring litigation deadlines on court cases within the Firm, working closely with attorneys on the court litigation and government agency teams to ensure deadlines are not in jeopardy and internal standard operating procedures are being followed, working closely with clients in gathering evidence for cases as required by agencies or courts or by attorneys, reviewing paperwork for accuracy and completeness, and other administrative tasks.

Attention to detail is vital, as this role is responsible for the processing and filing of legal documents accurately and in a timely manner.

A successful candidate will be able to manage multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment with multiple attorneys and important deadlines, and be able to work independently and with a pro-active “can do” mentality. The ability to “figure things out” and work efficiently to get things done is paramount. We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed during busy periods. Strong project management skills are a must.

Key Job Features:

  • Handling administrative duties of the Litigation team, including, but not limited to, deposition preparation, communication with opposing counsel and court clerks.
  • Coordinating and managing multiple projects across the Firm.
  • Assessing the urgency of situations and determining appropriate actions, monitoring status of pending items, providing follow up and keeping management informed by communicating a wide variety of information.
  • Coordinating teams to complete multi-stage projects.
  • Assisting in electronic filing of documents to courts.
  • Working with clients to gather information, documents, and evidence.
  • Analyzing paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Providing support and coordination to ensure that Firm attorneys meet all internal and external deadlines and milestones.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple priorities across several projects at once while staying on track with all tasks.
  • Paralegal duties as needed. Applicants do not need to be an attorney.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment where triaging and prioritization of tasks is a daily job responsibility, and success depends on efficiency and self-motivation for excellence.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills required
  • Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets required
  • Must be technologically savvy
  • Prior office experience preferred.
  • Strong project management experience in multiple team environments preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required for all applicants with less than ten (10) years of work experience and is preferred as a minimum degree level for all applicants.

Sometimes overtime work (over 40 hours per week) is required. Overtime pay will be provided.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
