Litigation Defense Attorney or Law Clerk

Letizia, Ambrose & Falls, P.C., a mid-sized New Haven defense firm, seeks a full-time, part-time or contract defense attorney. No prior litigation experience required. Upcoming January or May 2026 law school graduates welcome to apply.

Salary, bonuses and benefit package depend on hours, but include paid lunch, paid parking, 401(k) and a deferred profit-sharing plan. Attorney case load and required billable hours are lower than most defense firms. You will have the opportunity to work for a national and internationally-recognized hospital system and university, and other well-respected, self-insured employers and groups.

We are a family-oriented firm, so no attorney is expected to work evenings or weekends. We encourage our attorneys to attend family and other personal commitments that may arise during the workday. For part-time, flexibility to cover your hearings or court appearances and availability to be in the office at least 3 days per week for 5 to 6 hours per day are required. The days may vary and part-time remote work will be considered.
