Litigation Paralegal

We are looking for a candidate to work in our Litigation Department. This candidate will work alongside another paralegal specializing in Discovery. This candidate should be organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision, and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. This person must be a team player with a friendly attitude and self-motivated, and able to keep up at a fast pace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Maintains and organizes litigation files
• Assist attorneys in the preparation of discovery requests/responses
• Draft and edit discovery documents
• Correspond with clients, parties, and opposing counsel both verbally and in writing regarding Discovery
• Maintain complex filing system; E-filing and hard filing of documents
• Assist in translating with clients that speak Spanish
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: 1+ years as a personal injury litigation paralegal. or;
• Required: Bilingual in English & Spanish;
• Knowledge of general office practices;
• Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines;
• Skilled in effective oral and written communication;
• Skilled in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

Compensation:

• $20 to $26 per hour doe
• Annual raises are to be expected with good performance.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
