Below are some of the responsibilities expected to assume in this position:

Pre and post Judgment work experience required.

Litigation experience required.

We are looking for a self-motivated Paralegal to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will be responsible for monitoring cases from start to finish, this will include using Excel and Airtable to track files throughout the collections process.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and filing summons & complaints, default judgments, summary judgments, motions.
• Inputting new cases into our system.
• Filing with NY E-courts
• Once Judgment is obtained, execute on Judgment and find appropriate financial institutions to serve.
• Drafting all associated documents of Judgments
• Maintain CRM with all notes related to cases.
• Monitor/track deadlines

Skills

• Proven working experience as Paralegal dealing with Litigation.
• Knowledge of NY court system and procedures.
• Familiarity with Merchant Cash Advance is a plus, experience with pre and post Judgment work required.
• Computer literacy
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year with 90 day review for increase.
