Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys in the area of Personal Injury. Your expertise will help streamline case management, conduct legal research, draft documents, and manage complex litigation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills while contributing to impactful cases in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research using LexisNexis, and other legal research tools.
  • Manage legal documents and case files using document management systems such as Prevail, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Review and analyze documents for relevance during document review processes; prepare summaries for attorney review.
  • Support litigation projects by coordinating schedules, tracking deadlines, and managing case calendars efficiently.
  • Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information to support case development across various practice areas.
  • Maintain meticulous records of case activities, correspondence, filings, and court deadlines to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Provide executive administrative support as needed, including managing communications via phone etiquette and organizing meetings or hearings.

Qualifications

  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support in Personal Injury.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software like Prevail is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; exceptional proofreading and transcription abilities.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes such as filing procedures, data entry, document review, and contract management.

Pay: $53,612.01 - $80,000.00 per year
