Litigation Paralegal

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will support our Plaintiff's Personal Injury Practice case preparation will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and success of our litigation processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with attorneys, manage case files, and contribute to impactful legal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

<Responsibilities>

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial preparation, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are meticulously organized.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage electronic case files using document management systems like Filevine.
  • Coordinate client interviews, witness statements, and expert consultations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proofread and transcribe legal documents to ensure accuracy; assist with filing in the Court's electronic filing system.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars for attorneys, preparing reports, and maintaining organized case records.

<Requirements>

  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Promptness and preparedness to work hard, and be rewarded for hard work.
  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with outlook, microsoft word, excel, and other basic platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents; proofreading and transcription skills are essential for accuracy.
  • Effective interviewing techniques combined with professional phone etiquette to gather information from clients and witnesses.
  • Excellent organizational skills paired with project management abilities to coordinate multiple cases simultaneously in a busy law office environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
