Litigation Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex litigation cases across various practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, securities law and patent law. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, extensive legal research experience, and proficiency with legal case management systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation including case preparation, document review, and discovery processes.
  • Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as iManage and Legal case management software.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other relevant resources to support case strategies.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and relevance; perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case activities.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress across multiple practice areas.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing documents electronically or physically, managing calendars, and handling phone inquiries with professionalism.

Requirements

  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support across diverse legal fields
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with document review and legal drafting is essential.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative software such as PCLaw and document management systems like iManage or similar platforms.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail; capable of proofreading and transcription tasks accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including interviewing clients or witnesses when necessary; professional phone etiquette required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy; experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation cases is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law or personal injury law is a plus. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
