The Opportunity:

We are seeking a driven and highly organized Litigation Paralegal with relevant experience to join our office in Downtown Brooklyn. This role is focused on providing critical case management support to attorneys handling matters in NY Supreme Court and the Eastern District of New York. The ideal candidate will excel at organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating the logistical aspects of complex litigation, ensuring our legal team is prepared and efficient. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact for clients and grow with a modern, tech-forward firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a dedicated caseload from inception through resolution.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and data integrity within our case management system.
  • Prepare and submit discovery demands and responses.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, notices, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel to obtain necessary records and information.
  • Manage the calendar, meticulously tracking all court appearances, deadlines, and conferences.
  • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of litigation paralegal experience is required. Candidates must have experience in either federal court or the New York Supreme Court. Experience in both is a significant plus.
  • Essential knowledge of the litigation process and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Familiarity with New York No-Fault insurance and/or personal injury litigation is a major plus.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong ability to draft clear, professional correspondence.
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Starting salary is commensurate with experience.
