Litigation Paralegal Needed

This position is located in our Las Vegas, Nevada office, but it will support our litigation practice across multiple states, which include California, Nevada, and Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential support across various litigation matters, ensuring smooth case management and effective legal research. <Responsibilities>

• Work independently while efficiently supporting multiple attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, document review, and trial preparation
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents (pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motions, correspondence, etc.)
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong proofreading skills.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling court dates, maintaining calendars, and managing communication with clients and external agencies.
• Organize and manage case files including reviewing large volumes of documents and preparing comprehensive summaries.
• Conduct document review, inspection, and detailed analysis.
• Perform research of public records and other sources for discovery purposes.
• Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.

<Requirements>

• 1 – 3 years of prior paralegal experience preferred with no less than 1 year of experience required.
• Experience in Personal Injury, Construction, and Commercial Litigation.
• Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Well-versed in California and Nevada litigation procedures.
• Familiarity with Insurance Defense billing and billable hour requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, billing software, e-filing, Westlaw / Lexis, and other legal technology tools.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
