Litigation Paralegal – Probate & Trust Litigation

0–5 years of civil, probate, or family litigation experience (3–5 years preferred)

What You’ll Do
- Manage and calendar litigation and probate deadlines
- Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and probate filings
- Conduct procedural research (California Rules of Court, Probate Code, CCP)
- Prepare discovery, subpoenas, and deposition materials
- Coordinate and assemble trial binders (digital and physical)
- Track exhibits and witness lists
- Communicate with clients regarding procedural updates
- Participate in weekly case strategy meetings
- Support attorneys in structured trial preparation teams
You will be expected to manage multiple active cases while maintaining organized digital files and accurate deadline tracking.
Additional qualifications:
- Completion of a paralegal studies program and possession of a Paralegal Certificate are required
- Strong understanding of California civil procedure and filing requirements
- Experience with e-filing and Judicial Council forms
- Legal research skills and familiarity with local rules
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Proficient written communication and proofreading skills
- Proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable in a structured, accountability-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 DOE
