Role Overview

The Litigation and Practice Technology team supports complex litigation by delivering reliable, secure, and sophisticated technology solutions that enable legal teams to work efficiently and confidently with large volumes of data. As a Senior Litigation Technology Analyst, you will play a hands‑on role in managing litigation data, administering advanced eDiscovery platforms, and supporting high‑stakes matters from data ingestion through production.

This position is well‑suited for a technically strong professional who enjoys solving challenging data problems, supporting legal teams directly, and working with modern analytics tools in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The role also offers longer‑term growth opportunities for individuals interested in deeper data analysis or AI‑driven legal technology work.

Your Impact

Partnering closely with Litigation Technology Project Managers, operations teams, and legal stakeholders, you will help ensure that client data is processed, hosted, analyzed, and produced accurately and securely throughout the discovery lifecycle. Your work will directly support case strategy, deadlines, and regulatory obligations, while contributing to continuous improvement across litigation support processes.

Based on organizational needs and individual capabilities, there may be future opportunities to transition into advanced analytics, data science, or AI‑focused roles supporting client engagements.

This role may occasionally require off‑hours support or limited travel to meet the needs of matters and project timelines.

Core Responsibilities

Data & Case Database Administration

  • Process, convert, and manage electronically stored information (ESI) in accordance with matter‑specific requirements and established protocols.
  • Build, configure, and maintain case databases within leading eDiscovery platforms.

Litigation Technology Execution

  • Administer Relativity workspaces, Brainspace environments, and other litigation support applications.
  • Design and execute searches, workflows, and review configurations to meet case objectives.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Perform comprehensive quality checks on processed data and production deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed workflows and production standards.

Production & Deliverables

  • Prepare complex document productions including native files, metadata, text, load files, and images.
  • Support OCR, redaction workflows, and production formatting across multiple jurisdictions and production types.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced data loading, indexing, and application‑level issues.
  • Provide responsive, hands‑on technical support to case teams under tight timelines.

Analytics & Advanced Review Support

  • Apply analytics tools to support deduplication, email threading, clustering, privilege identification, and predictive review workflows.
  • Assist with reporting and analysis to support quality control and review optimization.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with project management, operations, and legal teams to coordinate deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to internal documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve workflows, efficiency, and technology adoption.
  • Deliver training sessions and briefings for case teams and internal stakeholders as requested.

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in litigation technology or eDiscovery support, ideally in a large law firm, legal service provider, or comparable environment.

Technical Expertise

  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Reveal), including database setup, workflow configuration, and search development.
  • Strong experience with eDiscovery processing and production tools such as Relativity Processing, Nuix, or LAW.

Analytics & Data Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience using analytics platforms (e.g., Relativity Analytics, Brainspace, NexLP) to support machine‑learning‑based review and quality control.
  • Practical working knowledge of SQL, Python, or scripting techniques used to transform and analyze data.

Professional Strengths

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over deliverables.

Certifications & Credentials

  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) required.
  • Brainspace Analyst Certification preferred.
