Responsibilities

Must be available to work anytime between 6am and 6pm.

• Manage classroom activities to promote active learning and positive behavior management strategies
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support childhood development and early education standards
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children through diligent supervision and adherence to health protocols, including first aid procedures
• Foster inclusive environments that support children with special education needs and encourage social-emotional growth
• Engage children in creative play, storytelling, arts, sports coaching, theater activities, and other stimulating experiences
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress and behavior in a professional manner
• Support the overall operation of the daycare by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing regulations

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp settings, or tutoring environments
• Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and effective behavior management techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
• Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and community partners such as Christian counselors or childcare specialists

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
