Job Summary
Little Scholars Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated early childhood educators to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young children. You will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities

Must be available between the hours of 6am to 6pm

  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood development and literacy education.
  • Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, physical education, and math activities to enhance learning experiences.
  • Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children in toddler care, preschool, and daycare settings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention support.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and welfare.
  • Maintain accurate records of classroom activities, assessments, standardized testing results, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare environments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices.
  • Strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored to early childhood education.
  • Experience with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring additional support such as tutoring or behavior management.
