Live Event Host with Geeks Who Drink (Asheville, NC)

Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 to be hired.
• You must own a working laptop, plus something to take pictures with.
• You must be staying in your area for at least a year.
• You must be available to work Wednesday and Thursday evenings with an arrival time of 6:30pm
• We are hiring substitute hosts (subs are not considered on-call)

Responsibilities:

• Entertain a crowd and command the room. If you’re a teacher, DJ, actor, etc., then you’ll fit right in!
• General proficiency with technology. Hosting requires a web-based app as do responsibilities before and after the quiz night.
• Complete online and/or in-person training on the use of our systems, plus basic AV setup and hosting skills.
