Live-In Caregiver (Cooking-Cleaning-Childcare)

Position Summary:

This family is seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and passionate full-time Live-In Caregiver (Cook-Housekeeper-Nanny) to join our residence and contribute to our daily household needs. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to combine your love of cooking, housekeeping, and childcare while traveling with our family between our two homes in Las Vegas, NV and Appleton, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare custom, organic meals from scratch to facilitate dietary goals.
• Perform all household cleaning, laundry, and organizational tasks.
• Collaborate with the primary nanny to provide childcare assistance, including engaging with and teaching a child who has autism.
• Accompany the family on trips, both domestic and international, with the ability to travel on short notice and for indefinite periods of time.
• Willingness to work 45-50 hours per week (~8 hours/day x 6 days/week with one dedicated day off).

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Passion for cooking, nutrition, deep cleaning, tidiness, and playing with children.
• Experience working with persons with autism or other developmental differences.
• Strong initiative, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to modify personal products and foods to align with the family's allergies.
• Ability to curtail the use of emitting devices as needed, especially during the night.
• Strong references and compatibility with family culture and lifestyle requirements.

Application Question(s):

• Willing to work 45-50 hours weekly with one full day off.
• Willing to work at least one overnight shift per week (for seizure monitoring of child).
• Willing to move with the family every 2-4 months.
• Willing to pay for travel expenses and be reimbursed in full upon submission of receipts.
• Willing to modify personal products to be scent-free and nontoxic.
• Willing to have your phone (and other emitting devices) turned off during work shifts as well as overnight.
• Physically able to work quickly and energetically doing a wide variety of task movements including carrying, reaching, climbing, crouching, and being on the floor.
• Willing to undergo a background check prior to hire.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
