Live-In Caregiver Needed for Elderly Woman with Parkinson’s – Lutz, FL

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced live-in caregiver to help care for my elderly mother in our family home in Lutz, Florida.

My mother has Parkinson’s disease and requires assistance with all activities of daily living. She is 5’1”, approximately 135 lbs, and is not able to walk independently.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, medication reminders, transfers in and out of bed, mobility support, light housekeeping related to her care, laundry, meal assistance, and companionship.

The caregiver will live in our home and will be provided a place to sleep, meals, utilities, and household essentials.

Requirements:

Must have experience caring for elderly patients or patients with limited mobility. CNA, HHA, or similar experience is preferred, but the most important qualities are compassion, patience, reliability, and experience with hands-on care.

Must be physically able to assist with transfers and personal care.

Must be comfortable living in a family home. We have 3 young children (8, 6 and 2 years old).

Must be clean, respectful, trustworthy, and dependable.

Must pass a background check and provide references.

English does not need to be fluent, but the caregiver must be able to communicate basic needs, understand instructions, and communicate clearly in case of an emergency.

Experience with Parkinson’s, dementia, stroke, mobility issues, or full-assist elderly care is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
