Live-In Family Assistant & Housekeeper

We are a warm and busy family of five living in Cresskill, New Jersey, with three wonderful daughters ages 6, 5 and 3, and a Toy Poodle. We own and operate family businesses and are looking for a reliable, energetic, and organized Live-In Family Assistant & Housekeeper to become a valued part of our household and help keep our home running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Children

• Help get children ready for school
• School pick-ups and drop-offs
• Drive children to activities and appointments
• Assist with homework and daily routines
• Supervise and engage children after school
• Prepare simple snacks and meals for the children

Household

• Daily cleaning and organization
• Laundry, folding, and putting away clothes
• Maintaining tidy bedrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Running occasional errands
• Helping keep the household running smoothly

Schedule

• Approximately 12 hours per day
• Includes a 2-hour break during the day while the children are at school
• Live-in position with a private bedroom provided

Compensation & Benefits

• $950–$1,250 per week, based on experience
• Paid vacation.
• Private room provided
• Food, household necessities, and personal hygiene essentials included
• No housing or utility expenses

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience caring for children
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible
• References required
• English required (Hebrew or Spanish is a plus)
