Location: Huntington Station, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday (live-in)
Children: Two children (ages 5 and 8)
Compensation: $1,400 per week

About the Family

Very kind, respectful, and generous family in Huntington Station is seeking a live-in nanny/housekeeper to become part of their household. They are hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone who enjoys helping a home run smoothly and supporting their family’s daily routine.

The family has two children, ages 5 and 8, who both attend school full-time. The role includes helping with the morning routine before school and getting the children onto the bus, then focusing on cleaning, organizing and maintaining the home during the day. After school responsibilities include picking up the children from their local school and on some days transporting them to and from activities. The position focuses on daily upkeep, organization, and supporting the family’s routine. A cleaning service will come in to do a deep clean as needed.

Responsibilities

• Helping the children get ready for school in the morning
• School pickup and driving children to after-school activities
• Cleaning and maintaining the family home
• Laundry and general household organization
• Keeping common areas tidy and well maintained
• Preparing simple, healthy dinners for the family
• Supporting the evening routine as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience with both childcare and housekeeping
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving children to school and activities
• Conversational English (must be able to communicate clearly with the family)
• Enjoys cooking simple family meals
• Strong references from previous employers
