Live-In Nanny | Private Family | Long-Term Opportunity
A private, well-organized household is seeking a dedicated and experienced live-in nanny to care for three young children (1 toddler and 2 elementary school age). This position is ideal for a career nanny who values structure, consistency, and working as part of a collaborative caregiving team.
The role offers a supportive environment with shared responsibilities alongside another nanny, allowing for balanced scheduling and consistent care for the children.
The selected candidate will reside in a separate, fully equipped guest residence, providing privacy and comfort outside of working hours.
Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Fluency in Tagalog, Ilocano, or Cebuano is considered a strong asset.
Position Overview
Primary Focus:
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for one toddler and two school-aged children
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing daily environment
- Support routines including morning prep, meals, naps, and evening wind-down
Key Responsibilities
Child-Focused Care
- Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and emotional support throughout the day
- Assist with hygiene routines, dressing, and daily transitions
- Foster positive behavior and age-appropriate independence
Activities & Learning
- Organize engaging activities including creative play, outdoor time, and learning-based experiences
- Encourage social, emotional, and developmental growth
Meals & Household Support
- Prepare balanced meals and snacks for the children
- Keep children’s spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Manage children’s laundry and related tasks
- Perform light housekeeping related to childcare
Transportation
- Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with parents and co-nanny to ensure consistency in care
- Follow established household systems, routines, and expectations
Travel
- Accompany the family on domestic and international trips
- Provide full childcare support while traveling
- Maintain flexibility with schedule during travel periods
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare or nanny experience
- Experience caring for multiple children, including toddlers
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence
- Highly dependable, organized, and proactive
Preferred (Not Required):
- Multilingual (Tagalog, Ilocano, or Cebuano)
- Background working in private households
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule:
- Wednesday through Sunday
- Approximately 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Flexibility required based on family needs and travel schedule
Compensation & Benefits:
- $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience
