Live-In Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a Live-In Nanny to provide care for our 6-month old baby. This role offers to live onsite, in a very nice guest house, one-bedroom ADU with its own kitchen and bathroom. The living situation is ideal. We also provide food and groceries.

Candidates must be experienced in caring for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities will include assisting with daily routines, and supporting the family’s needs with professionalism and a high standard for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for 6-month old baby.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences of the mother.
• Assist with daily routines such as changing diapers, feeding, burping, bathing, dressing, soothing for nap times, and play activities that promote learning and development.
• Maintain a clean and organized living space for the baby, including light housekeeping tasks related to childcare such as laundry and bottle washing and loading dishwasher for the family, and taking out the trash.
• Support educational activities by engaging in age-appropriate exercises (tummy time), and developmental play.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and watch the baby, to allow parents to sleep.
• Collaborate with parents to implement discipline strategies and developmental goals based on parents’ preferences.
• Provide caregiving support during outings or appointments, ensuring baby’s safety at all times.
• Travel with the family to vacation destinations anywhere in the world as necessary to assist with the baby during travels. This job requires international traveling about once or twice per year (e.g. the parents want to travel to Italy in August 2026 to attend a wedding and need the nanny to travel to Italy with them. Parents will pay for all hotels, flights and meals).

Experience required:

• Proven experience working as a nanny or caregiver for infants and toddlers
• Minimum 3 references required

Experience preferred:

• Familiarity with childcare best practices, early childhood education, and developmental milestones.
• Experience in meal preparation
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and positive attitude.

Pay: $250.00 - $350.00 per day
