Live-In Nanny for Maryland

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and caregiving support for a family in Oxon Hil, Maryland. This vital role involves nurturing, supervising, and engaging with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. As a Live-In Nanny, you will create a safe, loving environment that promotes growth, learning, and happiness. Your presence will be instrumental in supporting the family’s daily routines while ensuring the children’s well-being and development are prioritized at all times.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and playtime activities
• Engage children in educational activities, teaching basic skills and encouraging curiosity
• Maintain a clean and organized living space, including light housekeeping related to children’s belongings and areas
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants and preschoolers
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety in emergency situations
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas and children’s belongings
• Skilled in meal preparation with knowledge of healthy nutrition options for children
• Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong background in nannying, babysitting, or daycare environments with references available upon request
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills to foster a nurturing environment
