Schedule: Live In Monday - Friday
Children: 6, 1.5 years old
Compensation: $35–$40/hour + paid holidays, vacation, PTO and bonuses, paid as W2 and payroll service, private luxury guesthouse accommodations

About the Family

A very sweet, calm, and gentle family in Greenwich is seeking a career nanny who is nurturing yet firm to care for their two children, ages 6 years and 1.5 years. The family values a peaceful, quiet home environment and is looking for someone who truly enjoys being present with children and contributing positively to the household. The six year old has a fairly busy schedule of activities during the week. The family eats a very clean, organic diet. A long term match with a nanny who finds joy in this role, is proactive and can become a seamless part of the family's home is the goal.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for both children, with a primary focus on the toddler during the day
• Engage the toddler in age-appropriate, stimulating activities
• Support the older child after school with care and supervision, and transport her to after-school activities
• Hold boundaries firmly but gently
• Maintain a calm, structured, and positive environment
• Handle child-related cleaning including tidying up after the children, organizing their belongings, laundry and managing daily routines
• Assist the family with light housekeeping tasks when the children are with their parents, without redirection and management - no deep cleaning required of course
• Drive children to local activities, playdates, or outings as needed
• Domestic and International travel with the family a few times each year.

Requirements

• Excellent career nanny with A+ experience and performance in previous roles
• History of long term employment of minimum 2 years in previous positions
• Glowing references
• Must be a driver with a valid license and clean driving record
• Must have strong experience with children in the same age range
• Must be eligible to work legally in the U.S. and comfortable being paid "on the books" via a W2 with all payroll laws observed.
• Warm, calm, and gentle personality aligned with the family’s environment
• Reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoys working with children
• International and domestic travel a few times each year, must have valid passport and ability to travel

Compensation

• $35-$40/hr, paid "on the book"
• Paid vacation, holidays and PTO
• Private guest house on the property with full kitchen for your use, with groceries provided
• Care that is used to transport children is available for your personal use as well during non-work hours within reason

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who brings a peaceful, steady presence into the home—engaged, attentive, and naturally nurturing. At the same time, the ability to hold a boundary and gently but persistently encourage the 6 year old in particular to meet daily schedule and responsibilities is important. Additional Details
