A kind, down-to-earth single dad in Parker is seeking a live-in nanny/family assistant to help care for his 6-year-old daughter. She is in school full-time, and the home is calm, organized, and supported by a regular cleaning service.

This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with a lighter, more flexible schedule than a traditional live-in position.

Schedule & Role Structure

This role does not require a full 50–60 hour workweek. Support is primarily needed during morning and afternoon hours, with midday and evenings after 6:00 PM consistently free.

This position is especially well-suited for someone who has outside commitments or personal pursuits, such as continuing education, a part-time remote role, or a creative or entrepreneurial focus—while still maintaining a strong commitment to their responsibilities with the family.

Responsibilities

• Help with morning routine and getting child ready for school
• School drop-off and afternoon pick-up
• Transport to and from after-school activities (family car provided) and errands such as grocery shopping
• Provide attentive, supportive care and engagement with a 6-year-old
• Light housekeeping and home organization (deep cleaning handled by service)
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the household a few times per week
• Help maintain a smooth, organized household routine

Requirements

• Prior childcare experience (school-age experience preferred)
• Responsible, reliable, and highly organized
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Comfortable working independently in a calm home environment
• Seeking a long-term, stable position (not temporary)
• Excellent, verifiable references
