Live-In Nanny/Household Assistant

Our family is looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible live-in nanny to join our household. This is primarily an exchange-based live-in nanny opportunity. In exchange for childcare and housekeeping services for 4 children, ages 12, 8, 7, and 4, 4 days a week, weekends off, we provide a comprehensive living package. This arrangement may be ideal for a college student, someone relocating to the area, a nanny seeking reduced living expenses, or an individual looking to save money while providing childcare support. We are open to discussing the details with qualified candidates to ensure the arrangement is a good fit for everyone involved. Must pass a background check and a credit check. Must be a CPR and First Aid Certified. 5 references are required: 3 business and 2 personal.

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Valencia, CA (Santa Clarita)

Schedule: 4 days per week

Week 1:

* Monday – Thursday

Week 2:

* Tuesday – Friday

This alternating schedule gives you a 3-day weekend every week!

Daily Responsibilities

Morning Shift:

* 6:00 AM – Prepare breakfast

* 6:30 AM – Wake children and help them get ready for school

* 7:40 AM – Leave for school drop-offs (2 locations)

* 8:00 AM – Housekeeping

* 9:00 AM – Morning shift ends

Evening Shift:

* 4:30 PM – Pick up children (2 locations)

* After school: snack, homework assistance, and dinner preparation

* 6:30 PM – Family dinner

* 8:00 PM – Bedtime routine and room clean-up

* 8:30 PM – Children’s bedtime

* 9:30 PM – End of shift

Additional Responsibilities:

* Keep kitchen, living room, and dining room tidy each day

* Transport children to activities as needed

Current Activities:

* Tuesdays: Guitar lessons (5:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

* Thursdays: Piano lessons (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

Please note that schedules may occasionally vary due to extracurricular activities, school events, or doctor’s appointments.
