Live-In or Live-Out Nanny / Family Assistant

A warm, engaged, and welcoming family in Southampton is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly capable Nanny / Family Assistant to support their three school-aged children and assist with the smooth day-to-day flow of the household. This is a full-time, year-round position working approximately 40 hours per week. For live-out candidates, the typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Live-in candidates may follow a Monday–Friday split schedule, with morning and afternoon/evening coverage and a midday break. Flexibility is appreciated based on the needs of the household. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for three school-aged children
• Creating a fun, active, and positive environment, balancing playful engagement with clear structure and boundaries
• Managing after-school routines, activities, and evening transitions
• Planning enriching activities and supporting the children’s interests (sports, outdoor play, music, etc.)
• Coordinating and organizing the children’s schedules, appointments, and logistics
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family and assisting with grocery shopping (family prioritizes clean, balanced eating)
• Supporting the overall organization and day-to-day flow of the household, including tidying, light cleaning (wiping down surfaces, emptying dish washer, etc), and maintaining order (home is supported by a housekeeper)
• Assisting with household organization projects, ensuring spaces remain neat, functional, and well-maintained
• Managing children’s laundry, belongings, and general upkeep of their spaces
• Assisting with travel planning and accompanying the family on domestic and international trips, primarily during school breaks
• Acting as a collaborative partner to the parents, helping to ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently

Compensation & Benefits:

• $100,000–$150,000 annually, commensurate with experience

• Live-in accommodations, if applicable, include a fully finished lower-level suite with bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette

• Is a confident swimmer and driver
• Holds a valid passport and is open to travel
• Is authorized to work in the United States
