Live Stream Sales Host – Whatnot

We are an emerging e-commerce business launching on the Whatnot platform and we are looking for a high-energy, charismatic Live Stream Host to lead our shows. We are currently "testing the waters" with a few hours per week, with the goal of scaling into a full schedule as we build momentum.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Live Auctions: Host 2–4 hour live streams, maintaining high energy and excitement from start to finish.

• Engage the Camera: Direct interaction with a live chat—answering questions, shouting out bidders, and building a community in real-time.

• Product Hype: Showcase various items (including beauty and toys) with enthusiasm, explaining features and driving bid activity.

• Stream Preparation: Organize inventory and set up the "stage" for a professional, visually appealing broadcast.

Qualifications

• On-Camera Presence: You must genuinely enjoy being in the spotlight. Experience in acting, theater, social media content creation, or live selling is a huge plus.

• High Energy: The ability to keep the "vibe" up even during slow moments is essential.

• Sales Mindset: You understand how to create urgency and excitement to move products quickly.

• Tech Comfort: You are comfortable using apps and navigating live-stream software.

• Local to Monsey/Spring Valley: Must have reliable transportation to our physical location for scheduled shows.

Schedule

• Starting Hours: 4–6 hours per week.

• Flexibility: Shows typically take place during evenings or weekends to capture peak traffic.

• Growth: We are looking for someone to grow with us; as sales increase, your hours and responsibilities will too.
