Qualifications of Licensed Medicine Aides (LMA) / Med Tech:

• Valid Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) certificate

Responsibilities of Licensed Medicine Aides (LMA) / Med Tech:

• Administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations.

• Prepare and administers routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and documents administration

• Maintains medication supply, cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine room.

• Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refill.

• Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.

• Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates unknown medications before administration.

• Perform all aspects of CNA duties
