LMRT / Lab Tech

We are seeking a dependable and motivated LMRT / Lab Technician to join our medical team. This position combines responsibilities in radiology and laboratory services, supporting providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing X-rays, phlebotomy, specimen handling, and assisting with basic clinical tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-rays in compliance with LMRT certification and safety guidelines
• Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection (blood draws, urine samples, etc.)
• Properly label, process, and prepare laboratory specimens for testing or external labs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure radiology and lab equipment is maintained and functioning properly
• Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Assist providers and clinical staff with patient flow and basic clinical support when needed
• Maintain clean and organized radiology and lab areas

Qualifications:

• Active Texas LMRT license required
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen handling preferred
• Knowledge of radiology safety and positioning techniques
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
• Experience with EMR systems preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in urgent care or primary care settings
• Familiarity with multiple specimen vials, lab processing, and send-out labs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
