LMT Educator ( Math ) Grade -1 to 5

Job Summary:

We're looking for a passionate Maths educator to join our team as a Grade 1-5 Learning Mentor Teacher (LMT)! You'll support students in developing a strong foundation in maths, identifying learning gaps, and providing targeted interventions to ensure academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide small-group and one-on-one maths instruction to students in Grades 1-5

Identify learning gaps and develop targeted interventions to support students' maths skills

Collaborate with classroom teachers to align maths instruction with curriculum goals

Use data and assessments to inform instruction and track student progress

Create a supportive and engaging maths learning environment

Develop and implement maths enrichment activities and projects

Requirements:

B.Ed or equivalent degree with a focus on Maths education

2+ years of experience teaching maths to Grade 1-5 students

Strong maths content knowledge and ability to apply it in practical ways

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Proficiency in Google Suite and maths software/apps
