Loader Operator

The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to maintain stockpile areas and create a seamless loading operation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multi-task. The Loader Operator will fill in as a backup CDL driver as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate loader to load and transfer bulk landscape materials from yard onto trucks and trailers
• Provide quality customer service to clients by answering questions and loading their purchases
• Perform pre- and post -shift equipment inspection and maintain equipment repairs and maintenance records according to company standards
• Report any problems to maintenance personnel and managers
• Rotate product inventory for manufacturing accessibility
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prioritize safety and efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required or one to three months related experience and/or training
• Valid Class B license
• Experience with construction equipment preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
• Excellent customer service skills
