Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes.
• Assist with order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate shipment processing.
• Organize materials within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval, adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks with mechanical knowledge to handle heavy loads safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and proper handling of materials during peak periods or construction-related tasks.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields.
• Skilled in order picking, load & unload procedures, and materials handling techniques.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control processes.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of construction or heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $19.40 - $23.70 per hour
