Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated real estate agents and loan Officers with DRE sales license, to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for clients seeking mortgage and loan solutions, guiding them through the loan origination process with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess their financial needs and provide tailored loan options, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Review and analyze credit reports, income documentation, and financial statements to determine loan eligibility in compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and Fair Housing regulations.
- Manage the entire loan process from application through approval, including loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing.
- Utilize mortgage servicing software such as Quicken or similar platforms to track applications, update records, and ensure accuracy throughout the transaction.
- Conduct negotiations with clients on loan terms, interest rates, and contracts to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Perform credit analysis using basic math skills and accounting software to evaluate borrower risk accurately.
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements and other federal regulations.
- Collaborate with underwriters, escrow officers, and banking partners to facilitate smooth loan approvals and closings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking practices, mortgage products, escrow procedures, and legal regulations affecting lending practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries promptly, explaining complex financial concepts clearly, and guiding clients through each step of the loan process.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial sales role within banking or mortgage industries.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate terms and close deals confidently.
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, TILA compliance, and mortgage servicing processes.
- Proficiency in mortgage origination software such as Quicken or comparable systems; experience with financial software is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform credit analysis using basic math skills, including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to client engagement.
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures, underwriting standards, escrow processes, and contracts related to real estate transactions.
- Experience working with banking systems, accounting software, and financial services tools to streamline workflows.
