This isn't a data-entry role with a fancy title. This is a structured, paid career launch into one of the highest-earning sales professions in financial services — residential mortgage lending.
We're building a team of loan officers from the ground up. If you're driven, coachable, and hungry to build a real book of business, we'll give you the training, mentorship, tools, and licensing support to make it happen. Most of our trainees close their first loan within weeks of completing the program.
What the Program Looks Like
Our intensive bootcamp runs 2–4 weeks, full-time and in-person. You'll learn fast, practice constantly, and leave ready to originate. Here's what we cover:
- Mortgage fundamentals: loan types (Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo), rate structures, and how deals get priced
- Borrower qualification: credit analysis, debt-to-income (DTI), loan-to-value (LTV), and income documentation
- Regulatory compliance: TILA, RESPA, ECOA, Fair Housing, and what they mean for your day-to-day practice
- Sales skills: pipeline building, client conversations, objection handling, and referral partner development
- Loan process from application to closing: what happens, who owns it, and how you keep deals alive
- LOS navigation and documentation best practices
You won't just sit through lectures. You'll run role-plays, work real loan scenarios, and be evaluated on performance — not just attendance.
What You'll Be Doing as a Trainee
- Attending and actively participating in all structured training sessions
- Running practice borrower consultations with coaching feedback
- Analyzing real loan files: reviewing credit, income, and assets to determine qualification
- Shadowing senior loan officers on live client interactions and pipeline reviews
- Learning to use our loan origination system (LOS) to structure and submit loan applications
- Building your foundational knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines and agency loan programs
- Working toward your NMLS license (if not already licensed) — we'll walk you through it
Who We're Looking For
You do NOT need mortgage experience. You do need:
- A genuine interest in sales and building a client-facing career
- Strong communication skills — you'll be on the phone and in front of people
- Coachability — this program moves fast and requires honest feedback to stick
- Basic comfort with numbers and financial concepts (we'll build the rest)
- Reliability and professionalism — you're being evaluated from day one
Bonus points for: prior sales experience, financial services exposure, real estate background, or bilingual ability.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
